Homelab

A private, single-user integration for my home lab.

Homelab is a personal automation project that runs on hardware I own. It connects command-line and AI tooling on my own computer to services in my home network - virtual machines, storage appliances, container stacks - so that I can manage them from a single interface instead of a dozen web consoles.

Google Workspace integration

As part of that project, my tooling connects to Google Workspace through the Gmail MCP server. This lets me search my mailbox and prepare draft replies from my own machine, using my own Google account. Access is read-only for mail content, plus permission to create drafts; the integration never sends mail on its own.

The application is not distributed, published, or offered to anyone else. It has exactly one user: me.

Data handling

OAuth tokens are stored locally on my machine, encrypted at rest. No mailbox content is copied to any server beyond Google's own APIs. See the privacy policy for the full details, including how data is used and how to revoke access.
